| | I am finallly updating again! I was inspired to write this because of a very strange day that I am having. Soooo finals week is coming up next week! SCARY! But it's okay, I'll be so happy when it's over. It turns out I didn't have to go to work today so I was able to go to golden spoon with Marissa a little earlier! So this is when the strangeness begins..
Okay, so this is not a REAL golden spoon in the sense that it's located inside Ralphs.. this is because La Jolla has nothing in it except for ucsd and rich people's houses.. haha ok telling you that was pointless. Back to the story. So I see a big sign that says you can buy a quart of frozen yogurt for 3.99 and it's usually 6 dollars! This was just too tempting so I had to do it. So I got that and asked for toppings on the side. I separately got mini gummi bears and then in the other container I asked for graham cracker pie crust. I also bought Marissa a frozen yogurt because she's my wife and because she took me home this past weekend. So we walk over to the pseudo-coffee shop which isn't a real coffee shop either. It's also located in Ralphs.. with no coffee really that close by. This is our ritual. We come to fake golden spoon and then eat yogurt in the fake coffee shop only this time....I had a quart with my toppings on the side. So I opened the container with gummi bears and poured a few in my quart so I could just eat out of the top. I put the lid back on but I guess I didn't put it on all the way and when I picked it up to show Marissa how it wasn't enough for my quart of ice cream.. the lid came off and gummi bears were everywhere... everywhere....... hahah so I'm sitting there with my mouth open, half because I'm in shock, and the other half because I just bought those gummi bears and now they were all over the floor. Meanwhile, Marissa is laughing hysterically. But wait, this gets better. This whole gummi bear incident seemed to upset some old people sitting behind me so much so that the lady had to give me a dirty look and say, "You better clean that up because if you don't someone that works here will have to pick it up!!" I am so used to listening to my elders that at first I was like, okay I'll clean it. And then a second later I thought.. wait a minute... I don't know her! She's not MY grandma! so I sat there for a little longer letting all of this soak in. Until.... her old husband that can barely walk and has a hunchback gets up to tattle on me even though he can barely walk! He tells the store manager on me.. because God forbid some gummi bears are on the floor. You know... someone could be seriously injured by those gummi bears..hahah sooooo 5 seconds later you hear over the store intercom, "CLEAN UP IN THE COFFEE SHOP, CANDY SPILL". Yess... that is really what he said. 5 seconds after that you see a young worker come to the "coffee shop" holding a tiny paper bag.. no broom.. nope... a paper bag. She sees the gummi bears strewn everywhere and says, "Oh noooo oh noooo". I don't know why everyone is freaking out.. they're just gummi bears people. Meanwhile, Marissa is still laughing hysterically. So we help the girl pick up the gummi bears. I turn around and the old lady is still giving me a dirty look. I mean come on... the gummi bears are gone now.. what else did I do wrong? hahah man... so we had to get out of there. so we called Carina to wish her a happy birthday and to tell her our story. By the way, Happy Birthday Carina!!!!! Ok this is pretty much the end of my story except for that when Marissa and I got to the bathroom in the mall I got locked in my stall. Ok this is all for now.
